Plain-language privacy

Small records, clear boundaries.

Installation registration is optional. Panelavo keeps working if registration is never enabled, is disconnected, or Panelavo Cloud is unavailable.

Information an enabled installation reports

  • A random installation ID created locally
  • The server’s public IP address
  • The installed Panelavo version
  • Registration and report times

Information the dashboard owner may add

A client name, internal reference, contact details and support notes. These are entered in the private dashboard; the client server does not send them.

Estimated server region

Panelavo Cloud estimates a broad geographic region from the reported public server IP using a bundled DB-IP City Lite database. The lookup runs locally: the server IP is not sent to DB-IP or another geolocation service. This is an IP estimate and does not verify a datacenter or precise physical location. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

What passive registration does not collect

Passive registration does not receive CloudPanel accounts, users, passwords, sessions, SSH keys, API tokens, website lists, website files, domains, server specifications, logs or environment values.

Optional cloud management

Manage here displays the server’s own complete Panelavo interface in an isolated view from that server’s origin. The server asks for display approval, then its normal sign-in and MFA as the linked account. Its pages and responses travel directly between your browser and that server. Panelavo Cloud cannot read that view’s password or native session cookie. It retains the encrypted, user-authorized OAuth connection for account linking and metadata; that grant remains subject to the local account’s live permissions. Cloud collects no CloudPanel password, SSH key or root password.

Passive registration remains separate

Metadata-only registration reports an installation ID, public server IP, version and timestamps. It grants no server capability. The account owner can disconnect cloud management separately from passive reporting.

Owner visibility

The service owner may see account and server metadata for support and operations. That overview does not provide the owner with another user’s delegated server access.

Control and removal

Users can disconnect an authorized server and change their Panelavo Cloud password. Passive registration can also be disconnected independently.
